Review of The Big Red One (1980) by Jens T — 15 Oct 2010
Ones again we see the white-haired Lee Marvin as the routh sergeant Possum, a role he was born to play. Along with his original crew members; Hamill, Carradine and Di Cicco they all surrive trought the whole war, while all the new platoon members passes away.
On the axis side we have the german sergeant (Siegfried Rauch) who kills people, including his own who's againts Hitler. It's kind of cat and mouse chase, where always Jerry wins. The Big Red One contains no dull moments and it's absolutly worth to watch.
