Famously mistakenly seized as pornographic by the UK police in their knee-jerk video nasty raids the movie seems a rather tame compared with what the decade would go on to produce.
Certainly an impressive film with mach to admire in the way of film craft but rather unsatisfying as a story and characters who are broad but not quiet as relatable as they should have been.
