Review of The Big Heat (1953) by David K — 02 Dec 2008
Glenn Ford is excellent, but what would "The Big Heat" do without Lee Marvin's villain and bad girl Gloria Grahame - both are amazing, but Gloria (she won an Oscar for her appearance in Minnelli's The Bad and The Beautiful same year) simply stole the movie for herself.
Good old Lang is strong in every aspect (directing, splendid cinematography...) as usual.
