Review of The Big Heat (1953) by Codie E — 30 Sep 2009
A tough noir/crime film that takes its audience on a great journey through Glenn Ford's tough detective. Lang seems to bring the film a harder edge than most in the cluttered genre, my only real criticism is the lack of an iconic or very interesting femme fetale, Gloria Grahame's character is just not strong enough.
