I can't believe anybody thought this would be a good idea. Mel Gibson's character goes through a period of almost-catatonic depression and only comes good when he becomes a ventriloquist and starts wearing a beaver on his arm full-time.
Jodie Foster plays the painfully loyal and long-suffering wife.
