Review of The Beastmaster (1982) by Bambie I — 05 Aug 2009
Wonderful movie that I am perhaps rating higher than it deserves because of childhood memories. However, I don't believe I'm inflating its rating too much. The movie does a wonderful job at portraying human-animal interaction struggling against injustice.
While the sequel to this movie is barely worth talking about, the original is amazing. Of course, the list of characters includes two of the bravest ferrets the big screen ever saw. Certainly worth a watch now, and potentially even a rental.
A bunch of good scenes that I enjoy watching again and again. Great for children of all ages and for anyone who enjoyed the Conan films--though this one is far better.
