Review of The Ballad of Cable Hogue (1970) by Anthony S — 23 Feb 2007
A different kind of film for Peckinpah. Nice and light even with its somewhat dark themes (murder, back stabbing). However this makes it somewhat dull to me. Still Peckinpah knows how to craft a movie regardless of the subject matter and tone.
