The Agony and the Ecstasy is an excellent film. It is about Michelangelo's troubles while painting the Sistine Chapel at the urging of Pope Julius II. Charlton Heston and Rex Harrison give fantastic performances.
The screenplay is well written. Carol Reed did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed watching the drama and history. The Agony and the Ecstasy is a must see.
