Scorsese's main problem is that he always talks about mafia in his movies and when he doesn't talk about mafia he talks about religion. When he goes out from his comfort zone always turns out to give his best.
This one is a good movie in fact, wonderfully acted by all the members of the cast, nicely directed and edited. A good romantic drama.
