Review of The 5th Wave (2016) by Adrien B — 31 Jan 2016
I like the actress Chloe Moretz but this was one of her weakest movies. She still does a good job as Cassie, but she doesn't do as good as her past movies. It seems like they put all the bad CG scenes in the trailer to make you think it looks good but it is not what you are expecting.
It had good action scenes with some hit and miss CG effects. You can tell how obvious some are. It had the twilight romance bullshit with this guy who is suppose to be part of the aliens but hes not but he says he is and its all so dumb.
There is a twist ending and it leaves you hanging. I am not sure there will be more of this series. It was ok, but it went in the wrong direction and could have been loads better.
