The 5th Wave isn't the worst movie ever it is just very average. It is very cliche and the romance is super rushed. The cast did a pretty good job for what they were working with. It's basically a Hunger Games knockoff, tweenagers would probably enjoy it enough.
Don't go out of your way to watch it but it's okay to just put on in the background.
