Review of Ten Canoes (2006) by Sharlene G — 02 Feb 2008

Umm... yeah.... It was good... but the fact that I was desperately trying to stay awak, and my gran slept most of the way through is not a huge plus... The narration had a very lulling tone so you need to make sure you have plenty of caffeine before this one. It also doesn't entirely resolve...

In saying that, it wasn't entirely horrid either. The characters where relate-able, the scenery magnificent, and the cinematography was impressive - especially in some of those fly overs and close ups's of the habitiat...

So... plenty of coffee/coke, and be ready for a long and lulling movie, and it'll be, for the most part,a pleasant story.
