Review of Ten Canoes (2006) by Reece H — 10 Oct 2008
Ten Canoes a short and sweet film, really opened the eyes of Aborginal families in Australia. The story was very simple but had so much detail in it, Rolf De Heer has made this one of the finest films from Australia in a while, this film has given me more of a understanding of Aborginals in Australia on how much family means to them and I really thank this film for that.
It was more of a documentry then a feature film which is amazing if it had that affect on you like it did on me.
All up just a brilliant and beautiful film.
