Review of Taxi Driver (1976) by Princefan1999 — 04 Jul 2021
Not a scene nor a single line is wasted in adding to the bigger picture of what is going through the mind of Robert De Niro’s taxi driver and his final actions in the film. It’s not a typical movie where you’re fed all the answers but you have to do some of the work yourself.
Some may say it’s incoherent, it isn’t and took me the second watch to understand a lot of Scorsese’s intentions. It’s a masterpiece and one of my favourite films.
