Review of Take This Waltz (2011) by Daniel S — 20 Nov 2012
I was a big fan of sarah polleys previous film away from her, so even tho I wasnt that excited about the plot of this movie, I still went to see it, first off ill say polley has a great visual sense, theres a lot of great cinematography and use of music, so many scenes were just great to look at, it almost felt way better than the plot deserved, as for the plot, its nowhere near as deep as away from her, but it makes some good observations, some people have attacked michelle wiliams character, but I wouldnt call her a slut or anything, she tried saying she was married, and then trying to be intimate with her husband, but sometimes the sad truth is that youre better suited with someone else, the situations sucks, but you have to do what is best for you at the end of the day, williams is good, and rogen is good in his first dramatic role, I mean its not completely dramatic but he I thought he did all right in the sad scenes, also it uses video killed the radio star in a well done scene, which I really wanna watch again.
