Review of Take This Waltz (2011) by Raji K — 02 Jul 2015
Margot (Michelle Williams) randomly meets a guy named Daniel (Luke Kirby) at an airport and finds out they live quite close to each other. Margot worries about this as they had an intense attraction and knows it could possibly be a threat to her marriage with Lou (Seth Rogen).
As the movie progresses she resists passion, but begins to question her place and time in life. Take This Waltz was a morose, and slow take on marriage and relationships. When all the romance is out of life, how does one fight a new a flame.
Take This Waltz had good characters, was overall an interesting movie, but just failed to really be a great film due to pacing.
