I really tried hard to like this movie, for the issue it explores, the Toronto setting, the LC title, but it just has too many false notes, tries too hard to be cute/clever/hip instead of real. Williams is sometimes great, sometimes poor.
Rogen and Kirby, while good, really don't have the power to take their roles where they needed to go.
