If you try to forget for one moment that this is not the sequel to Trainspotting, then we are left with decent enough - but ultimately average - film. Some funny scenes, but was never going to come close to the first one.
As much as it was good to reminisce - and in no way did I dislike this film - would I want to watch it again? Probably not.
