Review of T2 Trainspotting (2017) by Outi I — 26 Mar 2018
I saw this three days ago and I still can't say, why I enjoyed it so much. It has more of a plot than the first one, it's not nearly as disgusting or sad as the first one but it was almost as entertaining and fun as the first one.
Sick Boy was my favorite character when I saw Trainspotting as a teenager and apparently he still is. Crown up but still a snappy dresser and one to offer insightful but odd theories. I hated Begbie as much as I did before but was surprisingly glad to see Spud and Renton still alive.
I can't say I like Danny Boyle's style of direction but it works with these two movies (and 127 Hours). T2 is fast but more concentrated and more adult than its predecessor.
