Review of Sweet Smell of Success (1957) by Edwin K — 28 Apr 2009
Sharp dialogue, flawless direction, and outstanding performances from deliciously villainous Burt Lancaster (one of my favourite actors) and his "sidekick" played by hugely underrated Tony Curtis make this film noir about power and corruption one of the essential films to see.
I can't get enough of this film.
