Review of Surfwise (2007) by Mark G — 24 Aug 2008
Excellent doc--on some level you have to admire someone who has the courage to live by their convictions, regardless if you agree with them or not. But the film definitely demonstrates the dangers of excess, and that even the best things in extremes can become negative.
Don't forget to check out the extras--the cinematography and surf footage by Dave Homcy is truly a work of art.
