Review of Summer of Sam (1999) by Andrew M — 08 Jun 2007
I absolutely love Spike Lee films and this is his best. Nervy and edgy, brilliantly told. The vibe of a serial killer movie, without being about the murderer. It's about a group of people dealing with the fear and trying to carry on with their lives while a killer roams the streets, its about suspicion, friendship and prejudice.
mOves you, shocks you and keeps you interested.
