Review of Summer of Sam (1999) by Songeehn C — 27 Jan 2012
An interesting look at what went on amidst the son of sam killings back in the 70s. a good cast with good performances. as usual for spike lee films we see a breakdown in social order that has to be reset so that life can go on.
the paranoia that sets in causes people to turn on each other violently. lee seems to see that if not as right, then at least as the reality of the streets.
