Review of Summer of Sam (1999) by Adam R — 31 Jul 2014
You always know youre in for a treat whenever its a spike lee join. The story is very well written, the actors are very good especially John Legyuizamo, mira sorvino, adrien brody and michael Imperiolli plus a mention to anthony lapalgia and michael baddalucco who does a remarkable job playing the serial killer known as the summer of sam. The last third goes a little out of control but with a great soundtrack, good performances and some decent scenes help makes this one of spike lee's better efforts.
Ps. note the movie has scenes of graphic violence.
