Review of Straw Dogs (1971) by Rocknblues 8 — 08 Dec 2009
Very disappointing, I'd expected much more from the teaming of Peckinpah and Hoffman. For all its controversial status it is fairly tame by today's standards, like several 70s classics it has been parodied, copied and improved on so many times that Straw Dogs just looks pretty shabby and badly put together.
