Review of Strangers on a Train (1951) by Rob S — 26 Mar 2009
There is a criss-cross pattern that follows this film that is brilliantly directed by the master of wrong place, wrong time, Mr. Hitchcock. This one is truly macabre in the ease of which the characters describe and talk about murder.
The scene at the fair is one of the best Hitchcock ever filmed, right up there with the shower scene in "Psycho". I get goosebumps just thinking of it now. Brilliant thriller that was the basis of the comedy some 35 years later "Throw Momma From The Train".
