Review of Strangers on a Train (1951) by Christopher B — 07 Mar 2017
One sided tit for tat murder arrangement where a devious lunatic mistakes politeness for agreement. Granger's character is weak, petrified by poor choices that he'd rather avoid. The only true hero of this movie is the toothless old man at the merry-go-round.
In spite of some powerful performances by the supporting cast (including Pat Hitchcock), this is a rather lackluster film for Mr. Hitchcock.
