Review of Strange Days (1995) by Yasir S — 12 Aug 2007
Underrated, unloved and panned by many, back in 1995 this pre-Armageddon epic gripped me. A winning formula: Ralph Fiennes being totally hot; Angela Bassett being arse-kickingly fabulous; Juliette Lewis pre-empting her burning desire to form The Licks, and Tom Sizemore as a nobody without the monstrous ego he has today.
The inevitable doom of the end of the millennium that it portrayed seemed completely plausible to me.
