Review of Stormbreaker (2006) by Andy W — 21 May 2009

Aimed at early teenagers, this film has very little to offer for those above the age of twelve. For most part its a Bond rip-off (blame the books for that), the story is contrived and convenient, and i'm guessing all the famous actors thought they were hopping aboard the next big franchise after Harry Potter.

Alas, this film kills any chances of that. On the whole, a bit cheap looking and doesn't really know what its trying to get: its to violent for young kids, and not mature enough for adults. And the lead character is very non-descript.
