Are you looking for an adventure? Well then you will love this film. Take a look at our review by 12-year-old KIDS FIRST! Film Critic, Julianna Noone's review.

This film stars Alex Pettyfer as Alex Rider, Ewan McGregoras Ian Rider (Alexâ(TM)s uncle), Alicia Silverstone as Jack Starbright, among others. This movie is about an orphaned boy named Alex Rider who lives with his Uncle Ian and his housekeeper/nanny Jack. When his uncle suddenly dies, Alex learns that his uncle wasnâ(TM)t a bank manager, but a real life spy. And now, the people that his uncle worked call on Alex to finish the mission his uncle started. Follow Alex on this great adventure and see if he can complete his uncleâ(TM)s mission and save the children of Britain. My favorite characters were Alex and his nanny, Jack.I like Alex because he is so awesome and amazing how he defends himself with a rope by continually swinging it with a special technique. Also, his martial arts skills are really awesome. I also like Jack because she is really funny but she also is able to defend herself, especially when the villainous Nadia Vole (played by Missi Pyle), shows up at their house and fights with Jack. The two go fighting all through the house using different objects to attack each other with. Finally just when it looks like Jack is cornered, she stops Nadia by throwing a wooden puffer fish at her. I think it is an absolutely hilarious scene. The stunt work on the fight scenes was really well done and very entertaining. The music in this film was really great and added some great emphasis to the scenes. Overall, I rate this film 4 out of 5 stars because it was a really good movie and I thought they did a really good job with this film. I think this movie is for ages 7 to 15. I think this because while it is good movie, older kids will find this movie just a little boring and some of the younger kids will find this movie to be a little bit frightening.
