Review of Starship Troopers (1997) by Dustin G — 24 Apr 2012
It's got that Paul Verhoeven cheese in the story and the acting, but it's also got that particular brand of hard hitting action and gore if you're going to watch a movie about fighting giant bugs, you have to be a little forgiving.
It's not a classic by any means, but it's consistently fun and extremely violent and while the effects are hit and miss, there's a lot of imagination behind them.
