Starship Troopers is one of the last true satire films ever made. Posing as a mere dumb action movie about killing space bugs, the movie serves as a poignant and hard hitting criticism of the **** of warfare by American society.
Everything about this film is extraordinarily "meta", and your opinion of the film upon its completion really demonstrates your psychology with respect to fascist imagery and propaganda.
