Review of Standard Operating Procedure (2008) by Enzo T — 03 Jul 2008
Errol Morris is officially a legend. This movie is a startling and confronting watch - three walkouts in the cinema (there were only six of us to start with!).
Revealing and non-judgemental insight into the goings-on behind THOSE photographs. More proof of the fact that war is screwed up and does screwed up things to people's heads.
DO NOT watch this film if you're easily offended. There's some messed up and confronting images in here, some bordering on the pornographic.
Documentary filmmaking at it's best. Except maybe for Fog of War ;).
