Review of St. Elmo's Fire (1985) by Alan D — 15 Jan 2008
Up with the top 5. this film is gratuisaly cheesy. but again like ridgemont high it captures the essence of the 80's theres a relatable charicter for everyone. and the script the direction from joel shumacher is brilliant.
wi8thout this film we would be missing films such as crule intentions and others like jerry mgouir. the best of the brat pack films though some would say the almost equaly brilliant breakfast club tops it.
st elmos fire is amazing and if you havent ever seen it I garuntie you'v danced too the remix of the theame tune in pop world a few times ..." im gonn be your man in motion. all I need is a pair of wheels".
