Review of St. Elmo's Fire (1985) by Kezia R — 13 Sep 2013
This movie is enjoyable, but it's nothing more than a stupid movie with silly characters mask by the 'brat pack' status and David Foster's amazing score. I just don't get the point and message.
I somehow expect this movie is going to be the adult version of The Breakfast Club, but clearly this movie is worse than The Breakfast Club. But, I do think it has some...very good performances from Demi Moore and Ally Sheedy.
Judd Nelson is watchable, but his character and acting are annoying. If Rob Lowe got the Razzie Award, why the fu*k Mare Winningham didn't get Razzie Award too? Not only her character is almost impossible to be in the group, her acting is quite.
..dry.
