St. Elmo's Fire will keep you sufficiently entertained, but none of the characters remain memorable after seeing it. It's a shame because the movie is very quotable and flows quite well, but since - to reference Brave New World - "everyone belongs to everyone" it becomes very difficult to distinguish the different people in it.
