Review of Splendor in the Grass (1961) by Lina P — 04 Nov 2007
Old school Kazan on a sunday afternoon. It gives me strength to survive a week of working in a place I don't care shit about.
A saturday night with a contemporary film I didn't know about. Funny - how can I have missed this. Where have they found these children? Samantha Morton I think is one of the greatest of her generation, up there with Tilda Swinton and Cate Blanchett. A beautiful and moving story by Jim Sheridan. Thank you.
