Review of Spartan (2004) by Robert C — 30 Oct 2009
Thriller about the president's daughter being left unguarded (for reasons explained in the film), then being abducted to be sold as a prostitute. The media reports her death by drowning with a college professor to end speculation about her whereabouts.
A rogue marine (Val Kilmer) does not believe the story and hunts for her disregarding those who want the story to end. His search takes him to Dubai where he locates and rescues her in spite of the odds and the government cover-up to stop him.
Worth watching.
