Review of Spartan (2004) by Michael W — 28 Jun 2012
A great movie! The movie is well written acted, and directed. The is script is about rescuing the presidents daughter, and has many plot twists. The special forces are below the radar the people and their operations do not exist.
The character Robert Scott (Val Kilmer) is the shining star of the film. Scott adapts and improvises in many creative ways. The demeanor of Scott is Spartan and adds so much credibility for this movie.
The scene where Scott breaks a suspects arm is memorable. Spartan is a well paced movie which slows down for the viewer to think. The movie is balanced out with fast paced action which excites the viewer.
I love the the movies message and ending is memorable. Four out of five stars!
