Review of Spartacus (1960) by Stephanie C — 27 Jul 2010
When you say the word Epic, people often think of Spatacus, and after finally seeing, I understand why. Spartacus is a huge film, and filming that today would not be much a problem, but for its time, it is an amazing undertaking.
Plus, it has great action, fight and battle scenes and decent acting, and I have never scene Kirk Douglas as cool as he is in this. Overall this has to be my favorite Stanley Kubrick movie and might just be his best, but I haven't seen them all so I can't say that for sure.
