Review of Spartacus (1960) by Joey W — 10 Jun 2016
Spartacus, Spartacus is not one of Stanley Kubrick's favorite that he intended to be. As for the general audience of the world they think it is a true beautiful masterpiece by Stanley Kubrick. First time seeing it in myself when you're in high school in a world history class we witnessed the controversy of communism and the struggles of the poor and the gladiators. Written by dalton Trumbo, as I think is one of the best screenplay is ever been written and cinema history. Every single practical scenery of this film is very eye-opening and yet so telling at the same time. Stanley Kubrick is never a lazy director when he does not want to do a project that he really does not want to do. Yet it is so magnificent to see this every single time when I have a chance to see it. Again it is very artsy and yet so meaningful at the same time. It did a lot of cinema challenges that never been done. One of the most I would to seeing movie cinemas history to see. I highly recommend saying this film yet is not Stanley Kubrick favorite but yet to all.
Grade.
A perfect 10.
