Review of Spartacus (1960) by Amraj D — 11 Aug 2010
A fantastic epic movie that perfectly tells the heroic rising of Spartacus as one of the all-time important heroes of movie history from a slave (chillingly shown in the first scene) to a man that could rival the top of the Roman heirarchy.
Probably doesn't cover as many themes as Ben-Hur, but this helps the viewer focus on the story more and this makes the experience much more emoitional, especially as the final scene unfolds. I will not spoil it.
