Surprisingly good for being the second sequel in the franchise. It's impossible not to laugh at Inspector Krogh after having seen Mel Brook's Young Frankenstein and the ridiculous false arm gags from that.
This movie maintains the terrific gothic atmosphere from the first movie while avoiding the campy moments from the second movie.
