A bit of a mixed bag. Had some excellent aspects to it--the sets, Bela Lugosi as Ygor, the inspector character--but also some bad ones. Basil Rathbone overacts and overall it's just unnecessary. That having been said, parts of it really work and it builds suspense and excitement.
