Another good film from Shane Meadows which also stars the young lad from his previous film "This Is England", Thomas Turgoose. While this is lighter in tone (ironic use of words, given the largely black-and-white footage) and enjoyable enough to watch, with good performances, this really isn't in the same league as a powerhouse like "This Is England".
Still worth a look, but I was just expecting a bit more.
