Review of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018) by Jamie J — 12 Oct 2018

This is not a film I was interested in, I would rather leave backstory to the imagination, but I ended up watching it last week. the film didn't make me as angry as the other recent star wars releases (although any scene with the stupid droid and lando really tested my patience), but maybe that is because now I go into the films with no expectations.

this is a boring film, and pointless. I have few memories of it a week later, other than I liked the villains, hated the appearance of maul, thought the acting was better than expected, and cringed at every single scene with the droid.

overall I was left cold as there is no need for this film to exist, I just don't care, and I am sick of disney slipping in social justice agendas into star wars whenever it can.
