Includes many Easter Eggs and references to other films in the Star Wars franchise, but manages to stand alone. The details on the props in the movie are phenomenal; you can see every scratch and scrape on any piece of machinery they use.

Also, the set design is fantastic and creates a very unique film. Overall, the film probably wasn't needed, but I think it delivered with many great plot twists, characters, and good action. A great blockbuster.
