Some very funny passages, some quotable lines, but when you see Allen's later and more polished work, you begin comparing, and seein how much he has improved and matured. Sleeper has it's intelligent humour here and there also it's slapstick humour, and even some intelligent conclusion about political systems, but it just lacks the depth of his later works.
