Review of Silent Running (1972) by Mark T — 18 Jul 2008
Now I'm no hippy environmentalist (far from it!), but I love this film despite the far from hidden "message". Much more subtle though than today's idiotic global warming ramblings. It made a huge impression on me in my youth.
A fantastic movie with cute robots (Wall-E anyone?) and incredibly sad moments. One of the few films to have made me cry!
