Review of Silent Hill (2006) by Jeff S — 04 Dec 2011
The female cop and the father were the most pointless characters I have witnessed in recent movie memory. From what I could ascertain, they served no other purpose except to prolong the movie or give the Director the sense that he had actually added something different from the norm.
The acting was also horrendously bad in this movie, which detracted from the storyline in a big way. Irregardless, still better than what I had expected, and the special effects were pretty amazing.
